My Head

Welcome to my homepage. I am Math/Business student at Acadia University entering my fourth year. This summer I am working with the Sandbox group on the Acadia Advantage project, integrating IBM Think Pads into the university curriculum for incoming freshmen. More specifically, I am responsible for working with the Intro Business Course (Busi 1706). After graduation next May, I am hoping to find a challenging job, either in the technology field or with a major accounting firm to pursue a CA designation.

Personal Information

1996/97 will be my fourth year as manager of the Acadia Varsity Men's Basketball Team . I am also a member of SMARTT, Acadia's Student Alumni Group, and co-president of the Acadia Math Society. I will be living at 330 Chase Court in September. After graduation from Herdman Collegiate I attended Shad Valley '93 at UNB. It was the best month of my life, and I would highly recommend it to any high school student that has the chance to attend.

There are a few sites on the web that mention me. Two are from Acadia's INHOUSE magazine, and another is of a hydrographic ship that I named:

Guest Book

I have just added a guest book to my home page. It is administered by a site called Guestimate that allows anyone to set up a guest book on their site without using CGI or UNIX at all. Why not try it out for yourself?

Computer Interests

Prior to working for Acadia Advantage, my strongest computer skills were in Windows 3.1 versions of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, as well as Netscape and HTML. During the summer I have refined these skills, working with Windows 95 as well as using Toolbook, Access, and UNIX. Hopefully I will have a chance to try Lotus Notes in the near future.

I have always been quite an avid reader and writer, thus I spend a lot of time on the web, exploring new areas and monitoring current events.
